Extreme Rules (2015) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the American professional wrestling promotion WWE. It is scheduled to take place on May 17, 2015 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It will be the fifth event under the Extreme Rules chronology.

Extreme Rules will feature professional wrestling matches that involve wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's primary television program, Raw. Wrestlers will portray faces (heroes) or heels (villains) as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
It was revealed following WrestleMania that a #1 Contenders Tournament would take place over the next few weeks to determine who will face Baron Corbin at Extreme Rules. In the finals, The Miz was victorious over Roman Reigns thus earning himself a shot at the WWE Championship. The match was later made a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
The main storyline heading into the PPV is the ongoing feud between the Bella Twins and The Beautiful People also involving Stephanie McMahon. The Bellas have enlisted the help of Ronda Rousey while Stephanie McMahon reached out to Gina Garano. It was later revealed that the Beautiful People will captain a team against a team captain by both Bella Twins. The Beautiful People revealed that one of their partners was going to be Gina Carano while the Bellas chose Ronda Rousey. The Beautiful People ended up choosing Sasha Banks, Danielle Moinet & Beth Phoenix to round out their team while the Bellas chose Traci Patterson, Bayley and Alexa Bliss. A stipulation was later added that whoever pinned Angelina Love they would win the WWE Women's Championship.
