John Joseph Gargano (born August 14, 1987) is an American professional wrestler signed with WWE where he currently performs on their Smackdown brand under the ring name Johnny Gargano.

In WWE, Gargano is a former World Heavyweight Champion after capturing the belt at Fast Lane 2018 from Christian in a triple threat match that also featured AJ Styles. He lost the title to Jimmy Jacobs after the latter cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. In addition to this, Gargano is also a former WWE Intercontinental Champion having held the championship for just one day before having to vacate the title following his move to the Smackdown brand where he was awarded the WWE United States Championship instead. He is also a former WWE European Champion.
