Logan Alexander Paul (born April 1, 1995) is an American YouTuber, social media personality, boxer and professional wrestler signed to the WWE where he currently wrestles for the RAW brand. In addition to his YouTube channel, he also has a highly successful podcast Impaulsive, which has operated separate to his main channel since November of 2018.
Paul gained his following in 2013 with success first starting on Vine.
Paul has also had a career in acting starring in an assortment of television and film properties including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Bizaardvark, and roles in films The Thinning (2016) and The Thinning: New World Order (2018).
Paul has also competed in boxing matches against KSI who he lost to in a split-decision, and, more recently, boxed Floyd Mayweather with no winner announced.
Paul has been no stranger to controversy over his career most notably in relation to a trip to Japan in December 2017.
Early Life[]
Paul grew up in Ohio with his younger brother, Jake. Paul began creating internet videos for a YouTube channel called Zoosh, prior to his career on YouTube when he was only ten years old. During his time in Ohio, he attended Westlake High School. He was the star linebacker of his football team and qualified for the state-level Ohio High School Athletic Association 2013 Division Wrestling Individual Championships.
Professional Wrestling Career[]
WWE Contract (August 9th, 2022 )[]
Paul signed to the WWE on August 9th, 2022, adopting the nickname The Maverick which he shares with his clothing label Maverick Clothing.
He has yet to make his debut with RAW, however, it has been rumored that he will appear at SummerSlam At Sea III though is not matched to make his in-ring debut.
SummerSlam At Sea III (RAW debut)[]
Logan Paul debuted at SummerSlam At Sea III where he called out the RAW roster and made claims that the brand had been losing steam for months. In the same promo, Paul called The Miz out to stand with him in a hope of cleaning up the RAW roster by 'taking out the trash'. While Logan did not wrestle at during the PPV, his arrival on the scene began trending on Twitter the hours and days following the SummerSlam event.
Tag Team AWESOME & The Reality[]
With The Miz accepting Logan Paul's invitation to unite to take over and restore RAW to a reputable brand, the duo began their battle through tag team bouts, defeating the likes of Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews, Bray Wyatt & Zelina Vega and Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins. Their victory over Reigns/Rollins secured The Miz a shot at the WWE Championship against Montez Ford, while Logan got a shot at the Intercontinental Championship against Danhausen.
During the formation of Tag Team AWESOME, Logan Paul and The Miz founded The Reality, a stable which consisted of Paul, Miz, Maryse and John Morrison.
Feuding with Mason Wolfe[]
Mason Wolfe of The Pinnacle began feuding with Logan Paul at about the time Paul secured his opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship belt. Wolfe doubted Paul's ability in the ring and Paul undermined Wolfe's which led to countless segments where the two men called one another out on Monday Night RAW.
Intercontinental Champion[]
Logan defeated Danhausen in the Intercontinental Championship match, securing himself the title which he held from September 19th 2022 to October 23rd, 2022. During his reign, he became the target of slander from The Pinnacle, Mason Wolfe and others who believed that Paul didn't deserve the honor of holding the Championship belt and called his in-ring ability into question.
Over the course of his time as the Intercontinental Champion, Paul displayed on several occasions why he had secured the contendership and the victory over Danhausen, not taking a single loss in the lead up to Halloween HaVoc.
Halloween HaVoc (2022)[]
During Halloween HaVoc, a Championship 6-Man Last Blood Match was announced to determine whether Logan would retain his title and continue his reign as the Intercontinental Champion.
He lost the title to Johnny Gargano which featured, Rollins, Wolfe, Priest & Kane - of which Logan and Gargano were the last two men standing.
Additional to this, the conclusion of the match posed to be a lull in the feud between Mason Wolfe and Logan Paul with it being the third consecutive match Wolfe failed to take a win over Logan Paul or secure the Intercontinental Championship for himself.
Humbled by defeat[]
After the loss to Gargano, Logan appeared to have a great deal of self-reflection and with the match serving as his first ever loss with the RAW brand or in his wrestling career, Paul came to be rather gracious and supportive of Gargano's victory.
Paul appeared on RAW the following week congratulating Gargano on his win and asking the crowd to show not only Gargano love, but the rest of the newly crowned champions on the roster.
This shift in demeanor and values caused a great deal of frustration and annoyance with The Miz who saw Logan's shift as weak and that he was accepting defeat which was frowned upon by those who were supposed to be awesome. Paul agreed to follow The Miz's lead until he could get his head back in the game - however - his heart truly was not in the mission The Miz and he had set out to achieve; especially due to the fact that he had realized it was founded on falsehood and misconception.
ImPaulsive TV![]
The following week, Paul would host his first ever episode of ImPaulsive TV! with guest Johnny Gargano as a part of the new championship celebration on RAW. In the opening of the show, Paul was shown with Nick Jackson to be organizing a large present box with six huskies for Gargano as a thanks for being his first official guest on ImPaulsive TV! and to officially congratulate him for his win.
However, The Miz would sneakily remove the puppies and insert himself into the large present which was carried out into the ring during the segment by Omos.
An unsuspecting Gargano was then jumped by The Miz forcing Paul to step in and stop the brutal attack.
Omos intervened when Paul put hands on The Miz and tensions came to a boil with Omos choking Logan and only stopping when The Miz told him not to hurt Paul.
The segment ended when Gargano was chokeslammed through the announcer table by Omos.
