Maxwell T. Friedman (born March 15, 1996) is an American professional wrestler signed with WWE where he currently performs on their RAW brand under the ring name Maxwell Jacob Friedman. He is currently a member of The Deadly Alliance alongside Chris Jericho, Andrade, Dolph Ziggler, and Lacey Evans.

It was announced on May 5th, 2020, that Maxwell Jacob Friedman had signed a contract with the WWE. Maxwell would make his official debut on the May 12th edition of SmackDown. He would come up short in a Fatal Four-Way match won by Drew McIntyre. McIntyre pinned Seth Rollins while Wardlow was already carrying MJF away. Later that night, MJF was seen backstage, degrading everything that came his way. He would encounter Austin Theory and the two teased an ego-filled alliance. The next week on Raw, MJF would pick up another loss on his record in a six-man tag team match. Last the week before, MJF was not pinned in the match and Maxwell would start calling himself "undefeated." In their first and last match as a team, MJF and Austin Theory came up short in a match against the team of Heath Slater and Velveteen Dream when Heath Slater pinned Austin Theory. During the 2020 Brand Split, MJF was drafted to be a member of the Raw roster. Sick of being embarrassed each and every week, MJF would shock the WWE Universe by defeating Randy Orton on the June 8th edition of Raw for a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship. During this same week, MJF and his partner, Becky Lynch would come up short in the Mr. and Mrs. Maddness tournament. Once again not being the one to be pinned, Maxwell blamed it on Becky and focused on the fact that he defeated Randy Orton. He would go as far as to dub himself as the new "Legend Killer" in the WWE.
Feeling confident in himself the next week on Raw, MJF and Wardlow interrupt another contender for the Intercontinental Championship, The Rock, in the middle of an interview. The two would try to punk each other out before their mixed tag team match later in the night. The Rock and his partner Charlotte picked up the victory in the match whenever The Rock pinned Fandango for the win. Yet, another loss that MJF found an excuse for. At Unforgiven (2020), The Rock won the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat ladder match. Maxwell once again was vocal about still not being pinned for a loss. In his own words, he was still undefeated with six losses on his record. Angry and desperate to get on the right track, MJF went into the Raw after Unforgiven with a point to prove. He would come up victorious, with a little help from Wardlow, against Madman Fulton. Later on in the night, MJF was giving an interview with Cathy Kelley when they were interrupted by the WWE Champion Chris Jericho. Jericho would tell MJF that he has what it takes to be a star, but he couldn't do it alone and offered him a spot in The Deadly Alliance. MJF tells Jericho that he doesn't need anyone to be a star, but he was intrigued by the offer. MJF tells Jericho to give him a week to decide while Jericho tells him that he hopes he makes the right decision. The next week, MJF would cut a promo where he announced that he will officially be joining The Deadly Alliance. He would go on to team with new teammates, Andrade and Dolph Ziggler, to defeated Madman Fulton, Baron Corbin, and Drake Maverick in six-man tag team action.
With The Deadly Alliance and Wardlow creating a brick wall around him, MJF's confidence was through the roof going into next week's Raw. MJF would interrupt Drew McIntyre's interview to poke fun at the angry bear for his recent time of bad luck and struggles. Luckily, MJF has his own bear of a bodyguard with him. He was done causing trouble that night as he and the rest of The Deadly Alliance came out to interrupt Kip Sabian's promo. They would degrade Kip before adding injury to insult by jumping him and sending a powerful message from Le Champion. After all of that, MJF still had something to prove as he would go on to win a triple threat match against Seth Rollins and Jay White. To top the eventful night off, General Manager Noelle Foley announced MJF will face the Intercontinental Champion at SummerSlam (2020). Still looking to pick a fight with a bear one week later, MJF would interrupt Drew McIntyre once again. This time Drew would leave MJF contemplating his decisions as he floored Wardlow with a Claymore. Not phased by Drew, MJF still had it in him to come out later in the night to cut a promo on The Rock and the Intercontinental Championship. Just when MJF thought he was going to go on a winning streak, everything came crashing down a week later. Being forced to compete in another tag team match, MJF, and partner, Mariah May lost against the team of The Rock and Maryse, picking up his first official pinfall loss that he was the one pinned. If that wasn't enough, MJF would pick up another loss the next week in another tag team match. Teaming with CM Punk this time around, they lost to the team of The Rock and Keith Lee being pinned once again by The Rock, who continues to have the best of MJF who is now threatening to take legal action if he is placed in one more tag team match with a partner he doesn't even know.
With all of the doubters talking against him, Maxwell made his way into SummerSlam with no doubt in his mind that he was going to make things right and defeat The Rock. In a one of a kind "crow's nest" match, MJF and The Rock fought all over the cruise ship at the historic SummerSlam at Sea. In the end, with the assistance of Wardlow along the way, Friedman makes it to the championship first and claims the WWE Intercontinental Championship winning his first championship in the WWE. On the following Raw on September 7th, Maxwell Jacob Friedman would start the night off by celebrating his Intercontinental Championship victory only to be interrupted by Hardcore Holly, who would receive a Double Cross for his trouble. MJF's night would go downhill quickly as he would find out that Lacey Evans would be the new interim leader of The Deadly Alliance in the absence of Chris Jericho. MJF would contemplate quitting the group and stormed out on them during the promo only to get a call from Chris Jericho later to convince him to stay. Maxwell teamed with stablemate, Dolph Ziggler to defeat Adam Cole after Cole's former partner, Jake Anderson faked an injury. The following week on Raw, Maxwell would lose the Intercontinental Championship in a match against Adam Cole. It was after this devastating loss that MJF would abruptly quit The Deadly Alliance and wouldn't be seen for over a month. When MJF finally did return, he would have an altercation with Chris Jericho, who had returned doing his absence. The two "friends" would have harsh words for each other but later in the night, MJF was announced to be rejoining the group. After officially rejoining the group, MJF led his fellow member in turning on and beating down his manager, Wardlow.

Friedman is in a relationship with Cora Jade. The two began dating in early 2023. Friedman has also dated Charlotte and former WWE superstars Mandy Rose and Deonna Purrazzo.
